The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region has an industrial ecosystem built on a long history of expertise in microtechnology, much of which is dedicated to healthcare. For more than 10 years, more than 300 companies in the region have been listed in the medical sector, most of them internationally recognised and supported by renowned training and research centres. The PMT Santé cluster supports this dynamic. The PMT Santé cluster, supported by the PMT, is the new name of the Innov’Health cluster. It brings together industrial companies, research laboratories and academics in the health sector in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. It supports the French medical device industry, promotes the region’s healthcare sector and helps to develop the French biomanufacturing industry. The cluster is firmly rooted in the medicine of the future and promotes projects in two key areas: • Medtech players with a strong network of subcontractors offering the possibility of producing a medical device, connected or not, from concept to market launch. • The diverse and agile biotech, pharma and biomanufacturing ecosystem, a growing sector in the region. The cluster raises the profile of the region and the companies involved in this collective dynamic. It offers a range of services focused on business development and skills deployment.
